Rare Vintage brass Ducati Winged D/Laurel wreath badge on hardwood plaque

Vintage
brass Ducati Winged D/ Laurel wreath badge mounted on hardwood plaque. This is an old badge, (and perhaps the iconic Ducati badge...) perhaps from one of the early fan-cooled singles. Anyway, I've had it for many years -- it was on my ducati special-tools box but is now mounted on an inch-thich 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" chunk of dense, dark hard wood, oil-finished with a hanging clip on the back
