Pr. Hand Painted Royal Vienna Porcelain Plates, 'Venus & Amor / Rinaldo & Armida
A stunning pair of Royal Vienna hand painted porcelain plates. One is depicting Venus with Amor (Love, Cupid) on her lap in a lush garden while the other is a scene of Rinaldo and Armida (taken from a 16th century Torquato Tasso epic poem and depicted by many 17th century Old Master Italian artists).
Each plate is signed by the artist and marked with a Royal Vienna style beehive mark on the back. Both plates have beautiful quality painting and gilding.
Each plate is 9 inches in diameter and both are in excellent condition.
