    Description

Beautiful fragment of a fossil coral geode from Georgia.  An interior of botryoidal formations composed of thick agate translucent apricot tones. Outside shows the structure of the ancient coral.
An excellent addition to a fossil, rock, or mineral collection or for research and education or for use in jewelry and crafts.  Photos taken dry.
    Approx measurements are 1.25" x 1.5" x .75".
Georgia fossil coral is approx. 25-45 million years old, is around 7 on the Moh's scale, and is highly prized for jewelry and lapidary work.
I'm out there collecting and cutting these great rocks myself and writing about it at zookeeperfossils on Blogger.  eBay sales help support my rockhounding habit.
COMBINED SHIPPING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE and I will refund excess postage when applicable.
    Thank you!
