Antique Royal Vienna Portrait Bowl w/ Exquisite Bronze Floral Footed Mount

Being offered for your consideration is this Antique Royal Vienna Portrait Bowl Encapsulated in an exquisite bronze mount. The bowl is decorated with a hand painted gold floral pattern with a large center banding of crimson on a cream colored background. The center transfer image is a portrait of three women with instruments under a tree. The bowl is held by an elaborately decorated bronze footed mount. The reticulated mount has four winged feet with large handles in the shape of leaves that come up well past the sides of the bowl. The bowl is in distressed condition showing considerable pattern loss and a hairline crack. The mount is in beautiful condition with no areas of concern and minimal antique wear (see images). The mount measures 11 3/4" wide at the handles, 9 3/4" in diameter and stands 6 1/2" tall at the top of each flared handles. A beautiful mount that is sure to add beauty to any deserving bowl!
